The Myrtle Beach Sandbaggers Association (MBSA) burst onto the golfing scene in 1992 when 6 friends decided to go on a golf vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In 1994 the MBSA moved to Virginia Beach but returned again to Myrtle Beach in 1995 and has been there ever since. The number of sandbaggers steadily increased and in 1997 the MBSA became 20 golfers strong; in 2005 we settled in at 24 golfers. The last few years we have been at 16 golfers. Some of the names have changed over the years but the focus has always remained on golf and friendship.
